Serial EY518307 is a modern-production Rossi 972 in .357 Magnum, a single/double-action revolver with a 6-inch barrel, stainless steel finish and black rubberized grips. The bore is excellent, light marks show throughout, and overall condition is very good.

A 6-inch stainless .357 is a range and home-defense revolver, and the long sight radius helps a Connecticut shooter who wants to practice at distance without an optic. Rubber grips take the sting out of magnum loads. For the transfer you need a State Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers or a Handgun Eligibility Certificate, both issued from age 21, and the dealer releases the gun after receiving a DESPP authorization number; there is no fixed waiting period after that, and purchases count toward the three-handgun limit in 30 days. Expect the light marks described, not a new gun.
