Serial 640767 is a Colt Officers Model from 1939 in .32 Long Colt, a heavy-barrel revolver with a 6-inch barrel that the seller describes as scarce in this configuration. It retains about 85 percent of its original blue with light wear, wears original Colt grips, and shows handling wear on the right side of the frame. The bore is excellent and overall condition is very good.

This is a collector's Colt for a Connecticut buyer rather than a defensive gun, and the .32 Long Colt chambering and long barrel suit careful range work with period-appropriate ammunition. The state process is the same as for any modern handgun: a pistol permit or Handgun Eligibility Certificate at 21, a DESPP authorization number for the dealer after the background check, no fixed waiting period after that, and a cap of three handguns in 30 days. The 85 percent blue and original grips are the details that matter to a Colt collector.
