Tristar Arms Setter S/T 12 Gauge Walnut Shotgun

Tristar's Setter S/T is an over-under 12 gauge for upland work, 7.5 pounds and 45.5 inches long with 28-inch chrome-lined barrels under a ventilated rib. A fiber optic bead sits at the front of the rib. The chambers are 3 inches, length of pull is 14.5 inches, and a single selective trigger lets you pick which barrel fires first. The walnut stock and forearm carry laser-cut checkering. Five Beretta-style choke tubes are supplied, from Skeet and Improved Cylinder through Modified and Improved Modified to Full.

The Skeet tube marks this as a gun that will see clays as well as birds, and the Full tube covers longer shots in the field. Connecticut's deer season is also open to it: on private land from November 18 to December 8 a 12 gauge with single projectiles is permitted, state land in the same period takes shotguns and muzzleloaders only, and Sunday deer hunting stays on private land. A manual safety is fitted.
