The Stoeger Condor Competition is an 8.2-pound 12 gauge over-under for sporting clays, skeet and trap, with 30-inch fully ported barrels, 3-inch chambers and automatic ejectors. The AA walnut stock has a satin finish, checkered grip surfaces and a fully adjustable comb, with a 14 1/2-inch length of pull. A single selective trigger and a tang-mounted safety that doubles as the barrel selector handle the controls, and the sight picture is a brass front bead with a silver mid-bead. Six choke tubes come in the box, two each of Improved Cylinder, Modified and Full, plus a wrench.
This one stays on the clay course. The 8.2-pound weight and ported barrels soak up recoil over a long round, the adjustable comb lets a Connecticut shooter set the cheek weld for a trap or skeet hold, and a spare tube in each constriction means a dropped choke does not end the day. It is a club gun built for volume rather than a walk in the field.
