Weatherby Vanguard H-BAR RC 6.5 Creedmoor Features: This top of the line bolt action rifle by Weatherby is made with such quality and precision, it is guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of .99″ or less at 100 yards from a cold barrel when using Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. Like the other Vanguard models, it is equipped with a match quality, two-stage trigger (that can be adjusted dodwn to a 2.5 lbs pull) and a 3-position safety. It has a one-piece machined receiver that features an integral recoil lug to provide high end durability and structural integrity, and a one-piece trigger guard with a hinged floorplate for easy access to unfired cartridges in the magazine. The Vanguard action incorporates a one-piece machined boltbody, fluted for reduction in weight and bearing surface area, while eliminating binding for smooth action. The Vanguard H-BAR RC model is range certified for supreme accuracy, and comes with printout from Oehler Ballistic Imaging System, including specific load/ballistic data and a computer image of the actual 3-shot group. It is signed and certified by Ed or Adam Weatherby. The hand-laminated, Monte Carlo composite stock has a beavertail forearm and strategically placed vents to dissipate heat, and the CNC machined aluminum bedding plate provides a solid, stable platform. Vanguard RC models have a Range Certified engraved floorplate. The H-BAR RC features a free-floated, cold hammer-forged, heavy barrel with a #3 contour and a bead blasted matte metal finish. This Vanguard H-BAR RC model has a tan stock with spiderweb accents and a 20″ barrel.
