Browning BL-22 Micro Midas .22 LR Gloss Black Walnut Rifle

Browning's BL-22 Micro Midas is a lever-action .22 LR cut down for smaller shooters: 12-inch length of pull, 31.5 inches overall, 4.75 pounds. The 16.25-inch light sporter barrel has a recessed crown and, like the receiver, is polished blued steel. The stock is black walnut in a gloss finish with a straight grip. A fixed tubular magazine under the barrel holds 11 rounds, with one more in the chamber.

The lever throw is a short 33 degrees, so the action cycles with a flick of the wrist rather than a full swing, and front and rear sights are both adjustable. There is no manual safety on this model. The receiver top is grooved to take compatible scope mounts directly, which turns it into a scoped rifle once a young shooter is ready to move past iron sights. Capacity is 11+1, and no detachable magazines are involved, so there is nothing to lose in the field.
