Description
Citori 725 Sporting Non-Ported Features Browning’s Citori is more than a shotgun, it is the quintessential representative of the quality of the Browning brand. The action components are machined to exacting tolerances, heat-treated for greater strength and fitted using the traditional lampblack-and-file method to ensure precise fitting. It utilizes a transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolt, which engages a full-width tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs. The Citori also has a chrome-plated chamber. The Citori 725 is the evolution of John M. Browning’s legendary B25 Superposed, but with the modern performance advantage of a low-profile receiver. The receiver is significantly lower than other Citori 12 gauge receivers, yet it shares the renowned durability with the same rugged full-width hinge pin and tapered locking bolt design. The total barrel dynamics increases bore diameter specifications, while the tapered Vector Pro dimensions minimize shot deformation. The Citori 725 also has a Fire Lite Mechanical trigger, Inflex II technology, and hinge pin which extend the full width of the receiver for maximum strength.
