The Buck Mark Plus UDX is Browning's .22 LR target pistol with a 5.5-inch slabside barrel, a target crown and a 9.5-inch overall length at 34 ounces. The receiver is machined from 7075 aluminum alloy on CNC equipment and the action is straight blowback with a single-action trigger. Browning hand-reams the chamber. On top sit a fiber optic front sight and the adjustable Pro-Target rear; on the frame, Ultragrip DX laminate grips with finger grooves and laser stippling, shaped for either hand. One 10-round magazine is included, plus a thumb safety.

This is a range pistol for Connecticut shooters, and the single magazine it ships with holds 10 rounds, matching the capacity figure quoted above. The adjustable rear sight lets you zero it to the .22 load you shoot most, and the ambidextrous grips mean a left-handed shooter in the family can use it as it comes. Handgun transfers in the state require age 21 and a credential; after that the only wait is for the dealer's DESPP authorization.
